LOCAL ACTION GROUP BILOGORA - PAPUK

The purpose of establishing Local action group Bilogora Papuk is the identification of local development strategies, participation in promoting rural development through networking and participation in LEADER projects and joint activities in fundraising, in order to improve the quality of life and the maintenance of the population through sustainable, integrated local development in rural areas Bjelovar bilogora county.

Local action Group Bilogora Papuk covers an area of city Daruvar and Grubisno Polje and municipalities Đulovac, Končanica, Sirač and Dežanovac.It's about 845, 59 km² and 31,9 % area of Bjelovar-bilogora county.The average population density is 39.18 inhabitants / km². Population of LAG Bilogora-Papuk is 31.131 residents (data from 2011 year).

Local Action Group Bilogora-Papuk was founded on the LEADER approach, which can be translated as a link between the actions for development of rural area.

In order to achieve the common objective LAG Bilogora-Papuk defined specific strategic goals of equal significance and importance of the implementation.The realization of each of these priorities is also precondition for the realization of others.
